Come to the NLG ticket kiosk (Biglietteria NLG) at Via del Molo 40 in Terracina to exchange your tickets for a boarding pass. The ferry leaves promptly at 8:40 AM, so board at least 15 minutes early. Once in Ponza, meet your guide at FARO Cafe by 10:45 AM.

What's the swim like?

Stops are in clear Mediterranean water around Ponza's sheltered coves. Conditions vary on any given day, so the captain selects the best available swim spots based on wind, sea, and visibility. Strong swimming isn't required, but let the guide know your comfort level when you board — non-swimmers and nervous swimmers are kept close to the boat.

Does the tour run year-round?

No. The Terracina↔Ponza ferry and our excursion typically run from June through late September, sometimes extending into early October when ferry schedules continue. Outside that window, the open-sea crossing isn't reliably available.

This excursion starts directly in Terracina — there's no road transfer to or from Rome. It's the right pick if you're already on the southern Lazio coast (Terracina, Sabaudia, San Felice Circeo) or comfortable making your own way to the port. Everything from the ferry crossing onwards is the same.
